Every brushstroke
matters.

Football is defined by movement and there is something fitting about capturing that movement through paint. Every brushstroke has its own direction, pace and expression, allowing an artist to interpret the energy of a moment rather than simply reproduce an image of it. Stroke by stroke, something fleeting begins to take on a permanence of its own.

Artist brushes and palette

Painted by
hand.

There is a beauty in taking a moment that may have lasted only seconds and spending hours preserving it by hand. Working alongside independent artists, each painting is given the time it deserves, built patiently through individual strokes, layers and imperfections. In a world increasingly concerned with making things faster, we value the effort involved in making something slowly.

From canvas
to cloth.

Only when the original painting is complete does it become a garment. The artwork is carefully captured and translated onto fabric, preserving the depth, texture and movement of the painted surface. Weight, structure and proportion are considered around the artwork so that the finished piece does not simply carry an image, but retains something of the original canvas from which it came.

The finished canvas

The finished
piece.

Worn, not displayed.

Art does not have to remain on a wall. Each original painting becomes an edition of just 101 garments, individually numbered and never reproduced once the edition is complete. Made to be worn, lived in and encountered, each piece carries a moment from the game into another setting, where it can be recognised, appreciated and perhaps begin a conversation of its own.
